Beverly Hills, CA (June 15, 2021)Peyton List (“Cobra Kai”, Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise, Disney’s “Bunk’d”) will be starring in the upcoming sci-fi/horror film The Friendship Game from producers Daniel Bekerman (Falling, The Witch, Anon) and Zak Kilberg (The Mauritanian) alongside executive producers Tannaz Anisi and Gregory R. Schenz of 13 Films. The Damien Ober-penned script (“The OA”) will be directed by Scooter Corkle (Hollow in the Land), and set to begin filming the first week of September, 2021, in Vancouver, Canada.

The Friendship Game tells the story of a group of small-town teens who come across an object with mysterious cosmic powers and a baffling sort of consciousness of its own. Over the course of a night, the object unravels the mystery about their missing friend, leading to a cataclysmic collapsing of realities.

“Adding Peyton’s affectionate touch to the character in the cerebral madness of The Friendship Game has everyone excited, just wait and see where she takes you. Paired with Damien Ober’s addition to the cosmic horror pantheon, believe me, you can’t know what you’re in for,” said Corkle.

Peyton List is represented by CAA and Tara S. Kole of Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman, Inc. Damien Ober is represented by Echo Lake Management and Mark S. Temple. Scooter Corkle is represented by CAA and PLAY Management in Canada.
